writing now: 2011 game changers

I'm not one for making New Year's Resolutions so I wanted to say goodbye to 2011 and hello to 2012 by sharing my favorite items, what I call my Game Changes, for the year.  Some were products that I've discovered in 2011, some were those I rediscovered in 2011 and still others were items that have stood the test of time.

wearing now: uniform

This has totally been my uniform of late.  Nothing special.  One or two layers of shirt, a blazer or a cardigan, jeans or slacks, accessories.  It's working for me now, and I haven't felt inspired to stray just yet!

Ironically, a few other people in my office were also wearing animal print!  Great minds..great minds!

I neglected to post a pic of one of my glitter manis. 

 

This is a combination of case study and orly vip. I found that these glitter polishes really helped my mani stay put for awhile, especially considering no top coat was used!

I have to start this post by singing the highest regards for this product! If you have to stop reading right now, I would just recommend that you GO and pick this up!

Here are some items I purchased for myself while doing my holiday shopping.

 Forever 21 Sequined Top. I'll probably wear with black tights or leather pants and a blazer.

weariang now: all black everything

Well, not exactly all black, but I have been doing more experimenting with monochromatic looks lately.

A few years ago, I wouldn't be caught *dead* in an outfit that was all one color.  If it didn't match perfectly, there was no way I was going to be seen outside of the house like that!  No.way.  I do feel kind of good about this outfit though.
